Christina Goes to Church is a book to help children in their religious identification with the Eastern Orthodox Church. It is a tool for adults to use in their homes to reinforce and complement basic church teachings and to help stimulate questions about the Orthodox faith. Children need repetition and consistency during the early years of life. Using this book offers an additional opportunity to help children develop and grow spiritually. It helps explain in a child’s language how Orthodox Christians pray, make the sign of the cross, light a candle, kiss an icon, have a Bible, and receive Holy Communion.
