Acquiring the Mind of Christ: Embracing the Vision of the Orthodox Church

Excellent book, and an easy read. I love how Father Sergius focuses not on the theological, per se, but on life in Christ through prayer. It is far too easy to focus on book learning and theological study, and to completely miss the whole point of life in Christ: communion in him.

This little book is a magnificent treasure. It is written in a way that can be truly beneficial for people new to Orthodoxy or people who’ve been Orthodox Christians for many years. It is practical and touches on some of the most essential perspectives for acquiring a truly Orthodox mindset.

Just started reading it and enjoying it immensely.

I really like this book. It provides very concise explanations of the meaning and purpose of liturgical worship and various otherkey questions to understanding what makes the Orthodox Church THE Orthodox Church.

Written so even a recent convert to orthodoxy can understand. I hope everyone in my parish will be able to read this beautiful book.
