Sister Magdalen underscores the unique value of each person, whether a child or an adult and offers wonderful advice for nurturing the unique persons. This book is a treasure trove of illustrations that Sister Magdalen includes from her conversations with children and teens, making the text immediately applicable. Where I have found many instructions to parents and children to be highly idealized and abstract, Sr. Magdalen is refreshingly realistic and practical.
