This is a beautiful book overall. It is well laid out and the print is very easy to see. The built in bookmarks are fantastic and I love the extra prayers from "A Psalter for Prayer" as an appendix. The translation is a satisfying marriage of traditional translation with modern considerations, as well as accuracy. While it is definitely not pocket sized it is not so large as to not be carried about. The cover is very durable and the paper used for the pages are a weight meant to hold up to frequent use. Overall, this is a fantastic product. Glory to God and thanks to St.Tikhons for it's existence!
Good Quality
I love this psalter translation. Great pacing, reads nicely without many archaisms that interrupt reading while still maintaining thee thou thine to queue the reader on the plural/singular distinction between pronouns.
The cover has a nice texture and the words are formatted to be easily read and do not sink into the gutter. It will require some use to lay flat but with regular use it should eventually. The binding is rock solid and will hold up for at least a century.
Love the prayers in the back and reading plans!
