I have been using this psalter now for a couple weeks and it is truly wonderful. The typesetting is easy to read, the texture and thickness of the paper is perfect, and the binding has broken in rather easily. I highly recommend it for home use. Maybe we can got a pocket edition too one day?
Many of us have been anxiously pacing the room, wearing a nice groove in our floors, waiting for the production of this much-anticipated Psalter. While I'm in much better shape as a result of such waiting, it is an enormous relief to finally have my hands on a copy!
It's so beautifully laid out for use in prayer at home, or for use at church (especially the Hexapsalm at Matins). I highly recommend this purchase for any individual or church in the OCA. One even dares hope we will all start using this translation for our liturgy binders...

This is the best Psalter that I have read. It is truly inspiring. It is clear without sacrificing beauty- a delicate balance. I believe this edition of the Psalter could be THE translation that unites the separate English speaking dioceses. Well done!
This has so many wonderful resources included with heavy paper, a beautiful typesetting, and a wonderful translation, that this might be the last psalter I own! ...until the pocket version! Binding is heavy clothbound and very sturdy. The binding is loosening with proper breaking-in and is beginning to lay open on its own. Great volume.
