This book is BEAUTIFUL and so well made! Its a joy to use for prayer, unfortunately, this newer pressing isn't just "slightly" larger. It's far too large for my pocket, personally. This is the only reason I chose a 2-star review. The exact dimensions of the book should be listed to include thickness which is one of the most limiting factors of this being easily handled during service. The paper is much thicker than the previous editions. I hope a new smaller one can be pressed soon, as the one I just purchased will be relegated to home use only.
The only small thing wrong is there's no soft cover edition.

I’m sure the content is the same (5 stars) but the new size doesn’t make any sense. It’s too big to easily fit in a pocket. Hopefully you’ll go back to the original size.
Thanks Fr Stephen for your feedback. The slightly larger size was not intentional. In order to avoid printing in China, we have been using Gomer Press in Wales (UK). It was only after the books arrived that we became aware of the size limitations of Gomer's bindery machine which meant a 10mm width increase. We have since found a solution and volume one was printed in the original dimensions. We are still looking for a solution for a thinner paper. The original Hieratikons were printed by a company no longer in business.
