This unique volume contains an akathist of an unknown author, discovered among the papers of the holy elder Venerable Confessor Sebastian of Karaganda (+1966). The saint both read the akathist himself and blessed his spiritual children to read it. It was published by the Moscow podvorie of St. Sergius- Trinity Lavra in 2000, the year that the elder was canonized. It is here translated for the first time into English.
The second half of this little volume is a canon, newly composed, in honor of the dread second coming of our Lord and God, Jesus Christ.
